A good turnout for the first match and the first day of summer with 14 anglers all returning with fish.We were greeted by a flat calm sea, small tides and a nice sunny day, it almost felt like time to get the mackeral feathers out. Those that found the gullies reaped the rewards with decent sized dabs with plenty of undersize fish aswell. The majority of anglers fished to the right hand side of the carpark with the hardened few walking towards the blockhouse to the left, Among those that ventured left were the 1st, 3rd and 4th positions, with 2nd spot being fished slightly to the right of carpark. Sadly for most finding the gullies proved elusive and fighting through undersize fish didnt help matters, Our junior member opted for an even longer walk towards Weybourne but sadly wasn’t rewarded and reported plenty of undersize codling.
