22 anglers braved the strong winds and most struggled to find fish, the wreck end towards Weybourne was very slow with myself only managing two fish during the match, some anglers managed to find the dabs and these seemed to be the mainstay for everyone.The event was sponsored by Hunstanton Tackle, Edac Solutions, Breckland Computers and Ultima Line , thanks goes out to all four companies.
The winning weight and came from the blockhouse end with peg 3 being the hotspot for Kieth Morley who managed 2lb 3 1/3 winning him £80 and an Epson colour printer worth £70 from Edac Solutions, Richard “Golden Bollox” Ives managed 2nd place with 1lb 8 2/3 earning him £60 and lastly 3rd place went to Jock Goudie with 1lb 71/3 earning him £40.
Prizes were paid out to the top ten anglers and with many of the others winning prizes in the raffle most people went away with something.
