The weather has been playing havoc with the fishing, those that could manage to get to a venue most often go away dissappointed with the lack of fish.Rough seas and strong winds have driven the fish further offshore leaving only a few Dabs & Flounders, this was shown to be the case at our new years open where 22 anglers struggled to find the fish, not one Whiting was caught throughout showing how difficult conditions were.
Terrible driving conditions for all anglers..
Clyde Legget managed to secure first place with 8 fish, the payout was structured continental style giving anglers from both sections a chance to get in the frame, the results below show what was caught.
