Probably the worst match of the season, mainly because expectations were high with the prospects of codling and for a change some relativley good weather, 13 of us turned up to fish but sadly only 5 managed to find a fish, Tony "Yoda" Thomas hung on to his overral lead with 2 flounders to take the match , second was Peter "inspector" Morse, with Peter "Sandy Coke" Loke in third, it was Russel Barber who managed the 4th slot with a cracking rockling of 27cm, several of the regular podium finshers were left holding their heads in despair as they returned with a blank and some lost 6 sets of gear in row.

Not the best results in the world but Trimingham is one of those venues that either fishes very well or extremely poor, looking at the state of tide I think on the whole we would have been better off fishing over the low water mark and the first of the flood , possibly something to bear in mind next time around.
